If you have tried to connect WiFi according to our tutorial, but still failed to connect, please check if you have the following issues:

  1. Make sure that you have connected the WiFi and lightened up the WiFi icon, as shown below(Click your device manager to check):

 

If you don't connect to WiFi successfully, click “Refresh” to try again.  After connecting WiFi successfully, The WiFi connection devices list will show “Casting”.

 

2. Please check if you install any security software like anti-virus software or firewall on your mobile phone.  In order to avoid conflicts with other applications, please try to disable the software. For some software with strict restrictions, it is recommended to uninstall the anti-virus software or firewall. 

3. Make sure that the connections use the same WIFI as before, check if the IP address on the phone and the computer are matched as follows:

For some software with strict restrictions, it is recommended to uninstall the anti-virus software or firewall. 

Taking Avast as an example.

  1. Open Avast→Click “Protection“→Click “Core Protection

2. Click the “Settings” button on the right side of the screen

3. Select “Core Shields” and turn off the Core Shield Protection

5. For some special phone models like HUAWEI, make sure that you have switched to MTP mode】.

You need to find "Setting", then find "About phone", next click【Developer options】, then click 【Select USB Configuration】, finally choose【MTP mode】 

6. Sometimes, WiFi will delay for some time, so please wait and try again.
