Enable USB Debugging

If you find yourself having some troubles connecting your OPPO phone via USB on your computer, USB Debugging Mode might have not been enabled. Follow the steps below. 


 

Be a Developer first

For ColorOS 5.2 and below: Go to [Settings] > [About phone] and tap [Version] for 7 times until you receive a message that you are now a developer.

For ColorOS 6.0 and above: Go to [Settings] > [About phone] > [Version] and tap [Build number] 7 times until you see the "You are now in Developer mode" prompt > Enter your Lock Screen password.

Allow USB Debugging

On the [Settings] page, tap on the [Back Button] > Go to the [Additional Settings] > Proceed to [Developer Options] > Toggle the[Developer Options] to enable it > And then toggle the [USB Debugging] to enable.

For ColorOS 11 and above: Go to [Settings] > Tap on [Additional settings] > Select [Developer options] > Under USB Debugging, enable [USB debugging].
